Anne Weill

Agronomist, Ph.D., innovation adviser at CETAB+

An agronomist with over 25 years’ experience in organic agriculture, Anne has worked with many organic producers of field and market-garden crops. She has published a guide to the evaluation of agricultural soils and has written, in collaboration with Jean Duval, a guide to general management of organic market-garden and diversified farming. The current holder of the NSERC Research Chair in Protection of Organic Crops, she leads a number of research projects on soil health, suppressing perennial weeds in field crops, and market-garden production in large tunnels. Her lectures will focus on subsoiling, suppressing thistle and sow thistle, and the economic aspects of large-tunnel production.
