Valérie Roy-Fortin

Agronomist, organic plant production project manager at CETAB+

Valérie began her young career working in the field, listening to the needs of farmers. Her main focus is the development of agri-environment improvement techniques, and she is conducting research projects on green manure in field crops and market-garden production. She is also involved in soil conservation and plant protection projects.

Valérie’s lectures will address the topic of green manure, particularly the results of projects focusing on legumes as a source of nitrogen. Her presentation on field crops will report on tests on clover intercropping in cereals – an inevitable precedent for corn crops.
